PoE

Introduction

Power over Ethernet is the technology to deliver power and data right on the twisted-pair Ethernet network simultaneously, so all the device connected to Ethernet system could be powered by Ethernet cable without extra power adapter or build-in AC-DC power module. It saves the installation time and cost of the system setup in building Ethernet network. RJ-45 is the most popular socket used in Ethernet, so POE is able to provide most compatible way to adapt with different devices and power on/off capability for remote management of Ethernet devices.
