The APE5035 integrates a MOSFET and a 96-channel LED controller for LCD backlighting.

It provides highly accurate LED current control (2% with a 30mA LED current) and operates over a wide input voltage range.

The APE5035 features 96 flexible PWM generators, allowing independent 14-bit PWM brightness control for each channel. Additionally, it includes a global, high-precision 10-bit DAC for setting the LED current. The controller synchronizes with the TV frame, including VSYNC/HSYNC signals, using a digital PLL method.
