Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. –April 20, 2006-Alltek today announces that it has signed distribution agreement with EL Korea Corporation (“EL Korea”), a leading manufacturers of EL lamps headquartered in Korea.
Traditionally LEDs have been used to provide the backlight in portable applications. Nowadays, EL lamps are becoming the solution for providing backlight to LCD panels and keypads used in cellular phones and PDAs. The features of EL Lamps allow engineers to make the shape of portable devices more outstanding.
With the features of ultra-thin, flexible and uniform lighting, EL Korea’s EL lamps are specifically used in keypad illumination of cellular phones. The manufacturing process of mobile phone will be shortened by using one EL sheet pre-assembled with the dome sheet.
